Founder

 Mr. Fahad Al-Tamimi is the founder of TIMCO and has to date, major interests in a diversified portfolio of natural resource investments.

Over the last 3 decades, Mr. Al-Tamimi has been at the centre of a number of significant infrastructure projects in the Middle East across the energy, mining and transportation sectors

Mr. Al-Tamimi was formally Chairman and 50% owner of Worley Parsons Saudi Arabia, which held a significant market-share servicing the engineering sector in Saudi Arabia.

During his tenure as Chairman, Worley Parsons fully managed the $5billion phosphate programs for Ma’aden in Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Al-Tamimi is also the former CEO of SaudConsult, which is the largest engineering company in Saudi Arabia, and currently remains a senior consultant to the Founder and Chairman.
Collectively these engineering groups, were at one time undertaking 60 – 70% of al Saudi Aramco engineering works. (Saudi Aramco being the largest oil company in the world).

Business & Investment Portfolio

Mr. Al-Tamimi has built a diversified group of business and investments which include;
  • Trading & Contracting (Saudi) -Supply of key materials to the oil and petrochemical sectors and construction of buildings and industrial projects.
  • Manufacturing (Saudi) – Major shareholder in manufacturer of commercial and industrial metal ropes.
  • Shipping (Norway) – Investments in two Crude Oil tankers (the Hero 1 and Leander).
  • Agriculture Sector (Egypt) – Several agricultural projects in Egypt Delta, which exports produce to the EU market.
  • Leisure & Entertainment (Egypt) – Significant investor in 2 Nile ports and a Nile cruise ship

Education

Mr. Al-Tamimi has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and a Masters of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Houston, Texas.
